Girls on the Run...

... is so much fun!
Girls, we have only a few practices left! Let's step up and kick some butt! Figuratively, of course. Our 5K marathon is only a few weeks away and I've heard a lot of you say you're nervous. What are you going to do about it? You have everything you need to succeed!
Remember when I took all those pictures?

Field Trip Day

My first ever field trip as a teacher! Single-handedly, I managed to get approval for, plan, schedule, arrange, organize, orchestrate, assemble, and pull off our fifth grade field trip to the Arizona Science Center; and it was a total blast! The final count: 120 students, 28 chaperones, 5 teachers. We watched an awesome movie in the IMAX theater about the human body, then we ate lunch out on the grass, and finally we explored the Investigation area. We made it through the day without any major behavior issues, we arrived and departed (mostly) on time, we didn’t lose or hurt anyone, and we all had fun.
